Can you pause or cancel an online testosterone subscription?

Which US telehealth TRT providers let you pause or skip, how much notice each needs to cancel, and which prepaid plans can't be ended early, from each provider's own terms.

Most online testosterone programs renew automatically. Whether you can pause, how much notice you need to give, and what happens to a prepaid plan all differ by provider. This is what each one says in its own terms and help pages.

Providers that let you pause, skip or delay

  • Hims: you can move your next order date or turn off auto-renewal instead of cancelling. Cancel at least 48 hours before your next order date.
  • Rugiet Health: you can skip a month from the Member Portal. Changes must be made at least 24 hours before the order is processed.
  • Strut Health: you can cancel, pause or delay from the Orders and Subscriptions tab, at least 48 hours before the order is processed.
  • GobyMeds: plans don't auto-renew, so there's nothing to pause; each order is bought separately.
  • Defy Medical: there's no membership; you pay for each service when you buy it.

How much notice to cancel

  • Feel30: at least 72 hours before your next billing date. Access continues to the end of the paid cycle, with no partial refunds.
  • MangoRx, PeterMD and Hims: at least 48 hours before renewal or the next order.
  • Taurus Meds: cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • PrescribedRX: no notice period stated, and it says there are no cancellation penalties or fees.

Prepaid and minimum plans

  • Maximus: a 3- or 6-month plan can't be ended early, and there's no refund for the rest of the term. Turning off auto-renewal stops the next term.
  • Henry Meds: on a multi-month plan you may have to pay the rest of the balance.
  • GoodLife Health: the first two months are a minimum commitment; you can cancel from month three. Medication is billed by the pharmacy, so stop any refills there too.
  • Joi + Blokes: subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, but payments already made aren't refunded.
  • T-TIME: you can cancel future renewals at any time; a $40 physician fee applies if your intake has already gone for review.

Orders already in progress

Almost every provider says an order already processed or shipped by the pharmacy can't be cancelled or refunded. If you're stopping, cancel before the renewal is processed, not after the charge appears. Step-by-step instructions for each provider are on its cancel page, and online TRT with no contract lists the month-to-month options.
